Greywater Recycling Systems

What is grey water recycling?

Grey water is made up of bath, shower, bathroom sink and washing machine water which makes up a large portion of household water wastage.

Grey water is recycled for introduction back into the facility or used for other purposes like irrigation and flushing toilets etc.

Studies show that an average suburban house can reduce its water consumption by 30-40% without much effort or sacrifice.

With some simple water recycling solutions you can cut your water consumption from 250L to 150L per day.

And, if you add recycling grey water to your efforts, you can increase that figure up to 60%.

Check out our range of water recycling products below and don’t hesitate to Contact Us with any questions you might have.

Uses of recycled grey water

Recycled water is better suited to certain purposes than others.

Recycled grey water should never be used for potable water purposes (i.e. cooking or drinking) without proper purification, and even then it’s still better left for other domestic purposes, such as flushing toilets and watering the garden.

Bath or shower greywater contains useful compounds, such as nitrates and phosphates that are commonly found in garden fertilizers.

Recycled grey water can be used on your vegetable garden, but not two weeks before harvesting.
